Day 1Arrival & Orientation

Accra → Elmina

Your personal guide meets you at Accra Kotoka International Airport. During the scenic 3-hour transfer to Elmina, your guide shares the story of Ghana and what lies ahead. Check in at Lemon Beach Resort, enjoy a welcome drink on the terrace, and get a full resort orientation. Dinner at Anomansa Restaurant with a detailed introduction to your 10-day program.

Day 2Elmina Castle & Town

A full day immersed in the history and culture of Elmina. Morning: a detailed guided tour of Elmina Castle, the oldest European building in sub-Saharan Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at Anomansa Restaurant at the foot of the castle. Afternoon: Elmina walking tour through the fish market, past traditional shrines, and into the workshops of local artisans.

Day 3Cape Coast & Kakum

Cape Coast & Kakum National Park
Lemon Lounge

Morning: drive to Cape Coast Castle for a guided tour of this second UNESCO World Heritage fortress. Afternoon: continue to Kakum National Park for the famous canopy walk — a 350-metre wooden walkway suspended 40 metres above the rainforest floor. Return to the coast for cocktails at Lemon Lounge in Cape Coast.

Day 4Crafts, VR & Culture

Elmina & Cape Coast
Lemon Arcades

Morning: a 3-hour batik workshop in Elmina where you learn traditional techniques and create your own one-yard cloth to take home. Afternoon: a VR session at Lemon Arcades in Cape Coast — immersive virtual reality experiences for all ages. Evening: a cultural dance performance at the resort by AKOMAPA dancers, featuring traditional drumming and a spine-tingling fire act.

Day 5Community & Cycling

Elmina
Lemon Family

Morning (optional): visit a local school supported by Lemon Family. Afternoon: a guided cycling tour around the Elmina community — past the castle, the Dutch Cemetery, salt mining ponds, the Posuban Shrine, and the fishing village. Evening: free time to relax at the resort.

Day 6Boat Tour & Bonfire

Elmina

Morning: board a motorboat at the lagoon near the resort and cruise around Elmina Castle, past the fish market, and along the coast. Afternoon: a relaxing massage at the resort, pool time, and beach relaxation. Evening: bonfire night on the beach with local music, cold drinks, and stories under the stars.

Day 7Fly North to Mole

Elmina → Accra → Tamale → Mole National Park

Early transfer to Accra for a domestic flight to Tamale in the Northern Region. From Tamale, drive 2 hours west to Mole National Park — the largest wildlife reserve in Ghana. Check in at Mole Motel on the hilltop overlooking the park. Evening jeep safari at golden hour — spot elephants, antelopes, and baboons.

Day 8Safari, Mosque & Village

Mole National Park → Tamale → Accra → Elmina

Morning: a guided walking safari with an armed ranger — walk alongside elephants, sometimes closer than 10 metres. Visit Larabanga Mosque, the oldest mosque in Ghana. Afternoon: Mognori village canoe tour, shea butter production, and local cuisine. Return flight to Accra and transfer back to Elmina.

Day 9Kumasi & Ashanti Culture

Elmina → Kumasi → Elmina
Anomansa Restaurant

Transfer east to Kumasi, the historic capital of the Ashanti Kingdom. Visit the Manhyia Palace Museum and explore Kejetia Market — one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa with over 10,000 stalls of textiles, beads, and crafts. Immerse yourself in Ashanti culture and the vibrant energy of Ghana's second city. Return to Elmina for dinner at Anomansa Restaurant.

Day 10Cooking & Local Artisans

Elmina
Lemon Beach Resort

Morning: visit the bustling Elmina fish market with your guide — watch the daily catch being hauled ashore and pick up fresh ingredients. Back at the resort, join a hands-on cooking class with a local chef and prepare traditional Ghanaian dishes: jollof rice, groundnut soup, and kelewele. Afternoon: a sip & paint session on the terrace overlooking the ocean, followed by a visit to local woodcarving and bead-making workshops.

Day 11Spa, Beach & Farewell

A free day to set your own pace. Sleep in, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and choose how to spend the day — a massage on the terrace, a swim in the pool, beach volleyball, or simply relaxing with a book by the ocean. In the evening, join us for a farewell dinner at Anomansa Restaurant celebrating your journey across Ghana.

Day 12Relax & Departure

A final breakfast at Anomansa Restaurant overlooking the ocean. Free time for a last swim or walk on the beach. Check out and your guide accompanies you on the transfer back to Accra Kotoka International Airport.
